Research direction
The main research areas are remote sensing inversion of forest parameters and remote sensing of forest health:
Remote sensing inversion of forest parameters based on multi source remote sensing data, including forest structure parameters, coverage, leaf area index and so on;
Monitoring of forest fires and vegetation restoration in Greater Khingan Range area based on remote sensing images and field survey data;
Study on prediction and early warning of forest pests and diseases (such as tree flu) outbreak in China based on spatial information technology;
Remote sensing of forest health and the effect of forest health on the sustainable development of human living environment.
